Thanking Jesus

This past sunday, my pastor, Pastor Elliott Rollins reminded us to never go to bed without thanking Jesus for all his goodness and mercy. The sermon was titled, "Something To shout About", We all have something to shout about," The Bible says, " Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
Well, I did just that, thanking him for being so good to me and my family, and thanking him for his love, asking him for traveling grace along the highway and arriving mercy.
The next morning my daughter Courtnei, my son Joseph and grand baby Taylor Elizabeth were in the car together, driving down Clyde Fant, when a big Fed Ex truck dashed out in front of us. Courtnei was driving, I heard her scream and I looked up and saw the truck inches away for our front end. I know it was Jesus that saved us, cause Courtnei quickly jammed the brakes and cutted the steering wheel with a sharp right and ran off the road. It frightened us very bad, but we were fine. We were fine only because of the Good Lord Jesus.
I have something to shout about, Jesus put his loving arms around us and shield us from harm and danger. Thank you Jesus, Thank You Jesus

Falling Short

I've been so wrong, i have not been spreading the news about Jesus as i should. Especially, when He, (Jesus), has devoted himself to never leaving me and blessing me. So I want to thank him for waking me up,  thank him for breathing breath into my body, thank him for keeping me and family covered in his blood. Jesus has been so good to me and my family. I fall short everyday, but he never will, because Jesus have my back. I can depend on him for everything. He's a need satisfy er. Don't that make you feel so good, to have a'' need satisfy er'? Isn't it so good to know you have someone that will never leave you? will never give up on you? someone that is rooting for you? wanting to supply your every need? Want you to be the best you can be? Wow, that's so heavy, I can hardly wrap my mind around the notion. Jesus want us all to believe in him, have faith in him, trust him, honor him, love him, do his will, love each other and tell a dying world that he LIVES. If anyone reads this, pick up your bible, go to a book store and pick up a bible, or go online and read a bible. Maybe one Sunday, drop by the Oakhill Baptist Church, and listen to Pastor Elliott Rollins, preach the word.  If you rather not, just sit still for a few moments and talk to him.(Jesus) he's a excellent listener.

My God

I woke up this morning thanking God for his Grace and Mercy. Thanking him for his Coverage. Thanking him for keeping my family and I covered with his blood. Thanking him for protecting my family  from harm and danger. Thanking him for keeping breath in our bodies. Thanking him for keeping my sight in tact for me to see his beautiful creations and Most Of All, allowing me to see another day.
